Photo Story

Spring is in the air, and fast approaching. Almost everyone is getting ready for the spring time weather by mowing their yards and planting their flowers. Diane McCosh is ready for the spring time. She's digging a hole to plant the flowers she brought to make her home seem more like spring.

Its time  to plant some flowers. Flower planting is the main component of spring time. Everybody loves the vibrant colors and fragrant smells the flowers give the outside of their homes. Diane McCosh is planting flowers in front of her window to make her house seem more inviting and open to the spring time weather.

The next step is watering. After the flowers are planted you have to water them to help them to grow. Everywhere you look during springtime someone is either watering their flowers or planting some to make their houses look better.

After watering, you lay down mulch. The mulch makes the area where the flowers are planted look nicer and also helps keep moisture in the soil so the plants can get established in their new home.

It really helps to have two people for the last step. While Diane finishes to mulch the area, Samantha steps in to water. After you water the soil, you should water the top of the mulch. This helps keep in moisture in the plants and soil.
